(ĐN)- In the morning of November 14, Dong Nai province’s Fatherland Front Committee organized a ceremony to award “Nguyen Van Ky” scholarships to 108 disadvantaged students in Vinh Cuu district and Bien Hoa city.
Nguyen Van Ky is former Secretary of Bien Hoa Party Committee. Nguyen Van Ky Scholarship Fund has just been established to support students in poor in their education. Recently, Mrs Le Thi Tru, the former Secretary’s wife, donated VND1 billion to the fund.
At the ceremony, the organizers gave VND2 million scholarships to high school students and VND1.5 million ones to junior and primary students.
