Mid-Autumn Festival celebrated

Tin Nghia Corp held get-togethers for children in social sponsor centres.

On Sept 30, Tin Nghia Corp held get-togethers for more than 900 disadvantaged and disabled children from social sponsor centres. At the event, the participants enjoyed arts performance and dragon dance

On this occasion, the Corp presented 1,000 gifts, 10,000 notebooks and VND300 million worth scholarships to the children.

Earlier, a programme named “Full moon festival” took place in Dong Nai Children House Vice with the attention of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department Bui Ngoc Thanh and hundreds of children in Bien Hoa city.

Children joined in traditional activities such as lantern parade, dragon dance and folk games.

The event was jointly organised by the Dong Nai Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the provincial Children House and Youth Union.

On the occasion, the Children House presented 100 gifts to poor children in the city.

Trang Bom district gave more than 14,000 gifts, worth VND100-200,000 each, to poor children residing in the locality.

In Vinh Cuu district, a music performance programme was organised in the hope of bringing joy to around 350 orphaned and disabled children.  joined traditional games.

On the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, a big event was also held on September 29 night in the district of Long Thanh with the participation of AO/dioxin affected children.

In Dinh Quan district, more than 600 poor and ethnic children were invited to a celebration of the mid-autumn festival.
