The money was used to build 38 charity houses totaling more than VND750 million for difficult households and award 750 scholarships worth VND1 million each to studious poor students on the occasion of new school year.
Dinh Quan district’s Red Cross Chapter has recently presented 400 gifts to local poor families.
Over the first nine months of the year, Trang Bom district’s Red Cross Chapter raised over VND2.5 billion for charitable activities and collected nearly 1,800 blood units from donors.
