(ĐN)- Over the past years, Nhon Trach War Veterans’ Association has done its utmost to help poor veterans overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
Particularly, the association raised more than VND590 million from their members to provide preferential loans to 218 poor members to develop household economics. Besides, around VND210 million was mobilized in 2011 to build 6 houses and repair 4 existing ones for local poor veterans.
The association will continue its efforts to help its members get loans from local banks for production development, contribute to fulfilling the province’s socio-economic tasks in 2012.
