Dong Nai will invest VND11 trillion (US$522.9 million) to upgrade 15 roads, six waterways and two bridges, according to a transport infrastructure development plan until 2015 approved recently by the provincial authority.
Of this amount, VND5 trillion ($237.68 million) will be taken from the provincial budget and the remaining amount mobilised from domestic and foreign investors under BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer), BT (Build-Transfer) and other investment forms.
From now until 2015, key projects to be completed and put into operation include the HCM City-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Highway and National Highways 51, 20 and 1.
