More than a hundred vehicles have caught fire across Vietnam since early last year and no conclusion has been reached about their cause, although poor and spurious gasoline has emerged a main suspect.
A investigation found many tankers stopped on their way to gas stations, siphoned of gas and mixed additives suspected to be combustible substances like ethanol or methanol.
