(ĐN)- Today, Jan 11, a delegation led by Standing Deputy Secretary Le Hong Phuong of the provincial Party Committee visited and presented 1,200 gifts to difficult families in Tan Phu, Dinh Quan and Thong Nhat districts. On this occasion, 800 gifts have been also sent to poor households in Ben Tre.
Earlier, the delegation gave 1,060 gifts to poor households in Vinh Cuu district’s Phu Ly and Ma Da communes. The gifts totaled VND765 million, financed by Cuong Thuan Idico and Dong Nai General Services and Agriculture Cooperative (Dona Coop).
On Jan 9, Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association visited and provided 200 gifts totaling VND60 million to the poor in Dinh Quan district.
At the same day, a delegation from HCM city’s District 9 paid Tet visit to Long Thanh district and offered 100 gifts worth VND500,000 each to poor policy families in the district’s Tam An, An Phuoc, Long Phuoc and Long Thanh communes.
