On the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year, Thong Nhat district’s Fatherland Front Committee handed over a charity house to Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh in Xuan Thien commune. The house is built on an area of 42 sq.m with a cost of VND37 million, of which Dong Nai Telecom donated VND27 million.
Tran Van On primary school in Bien Hoa city awarded scholarships and Tet gifts worth VND200,000 each to 93 studious poor students and war invalids’ children.
Vinh Cuu district raised nearly VND1 billion worth of Tet gifts granted to the poor, policy beneficiaries, AO victims, single elderly people and blind people.
On Jan 16, Secretary Tran Van Phuoc of Dinh Quan district’s Party Committee paid Tet visit to minority ethnic people in Tuc Trung commune. On this occasion, 150 gifts were presented.
Long Thanh district AO/dioxin victims’ Association also provided 132 Tet gifts totaling VND40 million to local victims.
