(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association has recently organized a meeting to review its activities in 2011 and discuss tasks for 2012.
In 2011, the association provided healthcare and relief aid worth more than VND67 billion for needy people.
Next year, the association will continue its efforts to raise more donations for humanitarian and relief activities.
The association and its grassroots agencies will strive to offer free eye surgeries to more than 1,100 poor blind people.
On this occasion, the association awarded certificates of merit to 67 individuals and 52 collectives for their contributions to humanitarian activities.
