(ĐN)- Over the past time, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and its agencies have offered assistance in various forms to help local poor people.
Particularly, the committee provided ten poor households with a financial support worth VND50 million, to help them develop household economy; donated VND10 million to Vietnamese families living in Cambodia.
Vinh Cuu district’s Fatherland Front also offered preferential loans totaling VND250 million to poor farmers.
Long Thanh district’s Fatherland Front in cooperation with Office of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affair gave financial assistance to 1,670 poor households to partly assist them in dealing with rises in power.
Cam My district’s Front has also made efforts to help 19 households escape poverty.
