Speaking at the ceremony, Editor-in-chief Tran Huy Thanh hoped that the scholarships will not only provide financial assistance for poor and studious students but also give strength to them on their way of learning.

At the ceremony, 195 poor students with excellent achievements in study got scholarships worth VND1-2 million each, funded by Truong Hai Auto Company (Thaco).

Thaco’s leader expressed his hope that the students would continue their efforts to achieve good results in studying and become good citizens in future. The corp will do its utmost to share difficulties with students in the coming years.

Over the past ten years, the program presented 1,663 scholarships totaling nearly VND1.8 billion to help poor students overcome difficulties. Accordingly, some of the receivers have graduated university and had stable jobs.
