(ĐN)- A delegation of Bien Hoa city’s Red Cross Chapter has recently visited and presented 162 gifts to flood victims in My Hoa commune in An Giang province’s Long Xuyen city. The gifts, totaling more than VND56 million, were financed by Bien Hoa city’s organizations and sponsors.
Earlier, Buu Son pagoda in Dinh Quan district gave 250 gifts worth VND150,000 each to poor families. Each gift included rice, cooking oil, sugar, etc.
On Nov 21, Quang Trung commune’s Fatherland Front Committee handed over two charity houses to poor households facing housing difficulties in the locality. The houses, each covers an area of 28-35 sq.m, were built at a total cost of VND75 million.
