(ĐN) - Authorities in Dong Nai province’s Vinh Cuu district have excavated at Phu Ly Primary School in Ly Lich hamlet, Phu Ly commune, recovering the remains of a soldier who died in the resistance war against the US imperialists.
(ĐN) - Authorities in Dong Nai province’s Vinh Cuu district have excavated at Phu Ly Primary School in Ly Lich hamlet, Phu Ly commune, recovering the remains of a soldier who died in the resistance war against the US imperialists.
The remains were recovered along with personal effects like cap, rubber sandal and others.
With the information collected and the personal effects, relevant agencies confirmed that the remains are of martyr Phan Van Cuu who was born in 1947 in Hung Yen province. He joined the army in 1966 and sacrificed his life in 1970. He took part in attack at Bien Hoa airbase in 1967.
The remains of martyr Phan Van Cuu were brought home for reburial.
