(ĐN)- The Dong Nai Provincial Construction Department recently held a ceremony to celebrate the 35th anniversary of its establishment and receive the third-class Independence Medal. The ceremony was attended by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai and Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh.

Since 1976, the Provincial Construction Department has grown to a staff of more than 10,000 engineers and architects.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai praised the efforts made by the Provincial Construction Department over the past 35 years and he also urged the Department to make greater efforts to build new rural areas.
Also at the ceremony, the Department donated VND 150 million to funds for study encouragement and Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims in the province.
