More efforts to support AO victims

(ĐN)- On October 25, Dong Nai province’s AO/dioxin Victims Association organized a meeting to review its activities in the period of 2007-2012 and discuss tasks for 2012-2017 period.

Over the past five years, the association and its agencies raised more than VND19 billion to assist the victims across the province.With this fund, the association built and repaired 140 houses, provided financial supports to help the victims to develop production and stabilize their life, visited and presented gifts, awarded scholarships and offered and regular allowances, free medical check-ups and home-based health care for AO victims.

In the coming time, the association will continue its efforts to take care of the victims, raise more fund to build 32 houses and provide loans and livestock breeding to 15 AO to help them boost household economies.
