(ĐN)- The current weather predictions indicate that there will be less rainfall expected in the Dong Nai province during the last five days of October, according to the Provincial Hydrometeorology Forecast Centre.

Several parts of the province will see scattered showers with possible thunderstorms and strong winds in the next few days, the Centre says.

The centre also warns that residents living in high areas or along the rivers and the springs threatened by possible thunderstorms and whirlwinds should put on alert to prevent human and property loss.

The weather will become hotter in the province The average temperature in the province will range between 26 to 28 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will hover between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius, a notch below average, and the maximum temperature will be 33-35 degrees Celsius in the five-day period.

The Provincial Hydrometeorology Forecast Centre says this year’s rainy season in Dong Nai will end in late November (about one week later than last year).

Likely, water level of Dong Nai River in Bien Hoa city and Ta Lai commune of Tan Phu district will go higher, with the water level much higher than the same period last year, higher than the first warning level.
