Activities to mark mass mobilization day

(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation on Oct 14 organized a meeting to mark the 30th anniversary of its establishment and the 81th anniversary of the Party’s Mass Mobilisation Day.

The meeting was attended by Secretary and Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Le Hong Phuong, Chairman of People’s Council Tran Van Tu, Chairwoman of Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri.

Over the past 30 years, the mass mobilization sector has made efforts to take care of policy beneficiaries, encourage people of all social sections to unite, maintain political stability and take an active part in patriotic emulation.
 
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh praised efforts made by the sector over the past time and stressed that mass mobilization organizations should continue to renew the work to make it more efficient and hold more direct dialogue with the people to understand their aspirations and make recommendations to Party organizations and administrations.
 
At the meeting, 65 collectives and 20 individuals were honored for their contributions to the Party’s mass mobilization.

On this occasion, Head of Dong Nai provincial Party Committees Commission for Mass Mobilisation Bui Ngoc Thanh on Oct 15 led a delegation to visit and present gifts to AO/dioxin victims.

Thong Nhat district sent 10 delegations visited and gave gifts to 120 poor households and AO victims

Dinh Quan district handed over two charity houses worth a total of more than VND50 million to households facing housing difficulties in Phu Tan commune. Besides, Dinh Quan district Young Doctors’ Association provided free medical check-ups and medicine to 100 poor households.

Xuan Loc district’s Police Department presented 400 gifts, 30 scholarships, 20 bicycles and 9 great unity houses totaling VND250 million to poor beneficiaries.
