(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Agriculture Promotion Centre donated VND252 million to build 210 biogas plants across rural areas in Dong Nai since the beginning of the year.
Until now, 3,630 biogas plants at household levels have been constructed and put into operation in the province.
Launched in 2003 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV), the biogas project aims to help boost economic development, save energy and reduce environmentally toxic gases and improve the living environment.
Accordingly, the farmers can use biogas to cook and fuel electric generator, saving power per day.
