(ĐN)- On September 13, Dong Nai province’s AO/dioxin Victims Association in cooperation with its agency in Thong Nhat district awarded “Giving strength to students” scholarships to 9 students who are AO/dioxin victims and children of AO sufferers. The scholarships each worth VND1.5 million were financed by Department of Education and Training. On this occasion, four studious poor students received gifts.
Earlier, Dong Nai Customs Department granted 14 scholarships valued at VND900,000 each and a VND2 million scholarship to poor students in Xuan Loc district’s Xuan Phu commune. In addition, the department presented 200 gifts, clothes, books, notebooks, etc to difficult students.
