Scholarships and bicycles for studious poor students

(ĐN)- On Sept 17, Nhon Trach district People’s Committee in cooperation with Study Promotion Association granted study encouragement scholarships worth VND450 million to 551 studious poor students across the district.

Awarding scholarships to studious students

Particularly, 153 primary students each received a VND500,000 scholarship, 189 junior high students got scholarships worth VND800,000 million each, while 84 university and senior high students each got a VND1.2-1.5 mil scholarship.

Presenting 100 bicycles to poor students.

Earlier, more than 400 students in Nhon Trach district received gifts and scholarships worth VND312 million together with hundred of bicycles for the new school-year. The scholarships, gifts and bicycles were donated by organizations and individuals to encourage poor students to continue their study.
