Remains of two martyrs buried in Long Khanh town

(ĐN) - The remains of two Vietnamese war martyrs were buried on Wednesday morning in Long Khanh town’s martyr cemetery after a memorial service organized by the town’s Office of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

The two martyrs were identified as Dam Van Thuy and Nguyen Phuc Van. Martyr Dam Van Thuy was born in 1948 in Bao Vinh commune, Long Khanh town. He joined the army in 1973 and sacrificed his life in August 1974. The age and birth place for Martyr Nguyen Phuc Van are unidentified. Thuy and Van sacrificed their lives whilst on duty.

The remains of two martyrs have been found and collected in Bau Ham commune, Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria, Vung Tau province by soldiers.
