Presenting VND 10 million to an AO victim

(ĐN)- On behalf of Ho Chi Minh city-based Poetry Club, the two poets of Lam Xuan Thi and Ho Thi Ca recently visited and presented VND 10 million to Dinh Thi Hoang Loan who was affected by Agent Orange/dioxin living in Dong Nai province.

Loan, aged 33, have suffered Agent Orange birth defects. However, she has overcome disabled pain to write more than 100 poems with a very expressive and optimistic attitude towards life. Her first volume of poems entitled “Giving thanks for the life” were published widely and received great attention thanks to the support of Dong Nai province’s AO/Dioxin Victims Association and some sponsors.

Poet Lam Xuan Thi said his club will give the help and support to Loan to develop her talent in writing poetry. Thi also said that he will support and buy 200 copies of her poems.

Traders in Bien Hoa market have also presented a printer worth VND 3.5 million to Loan.
