(ĐN)- Dong Nai Police Department will coordinate with agencies and organisations in Nhon Trach district to help people in the two communes of Hiep Phuoc and Phuoc Thien to clean up the environment and upgrade roads from September 20-24.
Apart from helping local people to clean up the environment, policemen from the Provincial Police Department will take part in a range of social activities and charity programmes in these communes, such as building 20 “great unity” houses for poor housholds, providing free medical check-ups and medicines to 600 single elderly people and the poor and 400 workers, presenting 400 gifts, 50 bicycles and 1,000 helmets to poor students, offering loans to 14 former prisoners who received amnesty to help them overcome difficulties and stablise their life as well as help them re-integrate into the community and become useful citizens….
The total cost for the program is estimated at some VN1billion. The money was mobilised by police department of Dong Nai province and Nhon Trach district
