Month for Traffic Safety launched in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- Dong Nai province’s Traffic Safety Committee on August 31 launched the Traffic Safety Month for 2011. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai attended the event.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai urged Traffic Safety Committees at all levels to raise public awareness of the dangers of drink driving, impose strict punishment for violations, eliminate large scale traffic jams and illegal motorbike races….

After the launching ceremony, traffic and social order police force and youth union members joined in a parade through streets of Bien Hoa city to accelerate traffic safety order and raise the people’s awareness of, and responsibility in, traffic laws.
