(ĐN)- A ceremony has been held in Bien Hoa city’s Trung Dung ward to hand over a house to the family of Colonel Tran Cong An, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary and Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh and Le Hong Phuong.
The 127sq.m house was completed after four months of construction with a total cost of more than VND700 million.
Colonel Tran Cong An passed away in 2008. He made important contributions to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. The Party and the State presented Colonel Tran Cong An with many noble awards, including Hero of the People’s Armed Forces, 60-year Party membership insignia and many other noble orders and medals. The life of Colonel Tran Cong An is an example for compatriots, cadres and soldiers to show love and respect and to follow forever.
