The event attracted the participation of nearly 1,500 students and youth members.

After the launching ceremony, participants planted trees and collected garbage at schools and some areas.
Vietnam has joined in the Clean Up the World Day campaign under the auspices of the Australian embassy in Vietnam since 1994 and has received a great response from students and people from all walks of life.
