(ĐN)- Ajinomoto Vietnam Co. in cooperation with Dong Nai province’s Study Promotion Association awarded 240 scholarships at a ceremony in Bien Hoa city on Saturday.
At the 8th scholarship awarding ceremony, 240 students across the province received scholarships worth VND212 million together with school bags and gifts for the new school-year.
190 primary and junior high students each received a VND800,000 scholarship and 50 senior high students got scholarships worth VND1.2 million each.
Since it started in 2004, Ajinomoto Scholarship Program has donated 1,700 scholarships totaling more than VND1 billion to difficult students across the province. The program aims to encourage poor students overcome difficulties and continue their study.
