(ĐN)- On September 9, Thong Nhat district held a conference to review 10 years of implementing the Law on fire preventing and fighting.
According to report from Thong Nhat district, there were 20 fires from 2004 until now, injuring 3 people and causing an estimated loss of VND920 million in property.
At the ceremony, the district’s relevant agencies discussed measures to raise the awareness of and responsibility of local people to minimize physical and material losses, reduce fires and explosions.
On this occasion, 26 collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit of the provincial People’s Committee for their achievements in preventing and fighting fire during the past ten years.
