(ĐN)- Recently, Hung Lam Pagoda in Thong Nhat district’s Hung Loc commune presented 250 gifts to households with difficult circumstances in the locality.
The gifts, including 50 kg of rice and instant noodle each, worth a total of more than VND30 million, funded by Buddhist followers.
Since the beginning of the year, the pagoda mobilized over VND100 million to give 1,000 gifts to poor people across the commune.
At the same day, Hue Vien Pagoda in Hung Loc commune also granted 100 gifts valued at VND150,000 each to poor families and single elderly people in Hung Loc and Bau Ham 2 communes.
