Localities support AO victims

(ĐN)- On August 6, the provincial AO/dioxin Victims Association in cooperation with HCM city-based Sunny Vina Co. visited and presented gifts to 50 AO victims in Phu Tuc, Phu Cuong, La Nga and Tuc Trung communes in Dinh Quan district.

(ĐN)- On August 6, the provincial AO/dioxin Victims Association in cooperation with HCM city-based Sunny Vina Co. visited and presented gifts to 50 AO victims in Phu Tuc, Phu Cuong, La Nga and Tuc Trung communes in Dinh Quan district. Each gift worth VND500,000, including rice, milk, instant noodle and cash.
Earlier, the Trang Bom district’s AO/dioxin Victims Association coordinated with the district’s General Hospital to provide free medical check-ups and medicine to more than 200 AO suffers with difficult circumstances. The total cost of the program was estimated at nearly VND30 million.

Dong Nai Customs Department also sent a delegation to visit and present gifts valued at 500,000 VND each to 20 victims in Dinh Quan district’s Thanh Son commune.

Lac Hong University has recently pledged to provide regular allowances to 20 families of AO victims in Cam My and Dinh Quan districts.  

Vietnam Children Sponsoring Fund awarded five scholarships worth VND500,000 each to AO sufferers in Dinh Quan.
