(ĐN)- Over the past time, Nhon Trach district’s Veterans Association built and handed over three charity houses totaling VND75 million to poor members.
The association provided loans worth over VND3.5 billion to its members to help them develop household economy and stabilize their lives.
Besides, the association’s Veterans Fund raised nearly VND600 million to support poor veterans and people who contributed to the liberation of the country who were in difficult circumstances and in poor health.
In the coming time, the association will continue to call the whole community to care for poor veterans, build gratitude houses, grant scholarships and support medical fees to cure illnesses or treat diseases.
