This was part of an annual program by the Fund to provide 500-700 scholarships worth VND 0.7-2 million each to poor but excellent students, help them cover their school fees, overcome difficulties to continue their study.
In 2011, CEP Fund spent more than VND2.7 billion to grant scholarships and build houses for poor students and families nationwide. In Dong Nai, the Fund handed over 4 houses, repaired one, presented 35,200 notebooks, 8,500 pens and 106 scholarships totaling more than VND426 million.
