(ĐN)- During the past four years, organizations and individuals donated more than VND13 billion to Fund for AO/dioxin victims, according to Dong Nai province’s AO/Dioxin Victims Association.
The money has been used to build and repair houses for the victims; providing loans without interest and financial supports to help them to develop production and stabilize their life; presenting “Giving strength to students” scholarships to students who are children of the beneficiaries, offering free medical check-ups and treatment, built a rehabilitation centre for AO victims, etc.
Over the past two years, Thong Nhat district’s AO/Dioxin Victims Association also raised approximately VND250 million to assist AO/dioxin victims.
In the coming time, the association will continue its efforts to take care of the victims, raise more fund for AO victims to help them to overcome difficulties.
