Delegation from the Provincial Police Department visited and presented gift to family of Mr. Do Huy Thang
On July 25, a delegation from the Provincial Police Department led by its Deputy Director, Colonel Ngo Minh Duc visited and presented gift to family of Mr. Do Huy Thang who died after catching robbers in Tan Hoa ward, Bien Hoa city on the night of February 9.
 
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to poor families in the locality including families of Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung and Mr. Nguyen Van Soai who were offered the houses by the Provincial Police Department. Over the past time, the Department has funded to build many great unit houses for poor families in the province.

Also on July 25, Nguyen Hue University (former name of the Infantry Officers’ Training College No 2) in coordination with authorites of Trung Dung ward handed over a charity house to Mr. Nguyen Van Vu, a wounded soldier living in the locality. The house was built on an area of 70 sq.m with a cost of over VND60 million, of which Nguyen Hue University donated VND60 million, the remaining was funded by the the ward authorities and other donators.
 
On the same day, Dinh Quan district provided free medical check-ups and medicines as well as presented gifts to 100 war invalids, wounded soldiers, single elderly people and disabled people through a co-operative programme between the Provincial Red Cross Association and the district authorities. The cost of the program was estimated at around VND20 million funded by volunteer doctors from the Provincial Red Cross Association and other donators.

Also on the same day, leaders of police and Agribank’s branch in Trang Bom district visted and gave 13 saving books worth VND 1 million each to heroic mothers and policy families in the locality. The money was contributed by police officers, soldiers and employees of Agribank’s branch in Trang Bom district.
 
Earlier on July 24, Dau Giay Polyclinic Hospital cooperated with Young Doctors’ Club in Ho Chi Minh city to provide free medical check-ups and medicines as well as presented gifts to policy beneficiaries and contributors to the nation in Thong Nhat district. The cost of the program was estimated at VND60 million funded by Young Doctors’ Club in Ho Chi Minh city.
