(ĐN)- Since the beginning of the year, Dong Nai provincial Children Sponsoring Fund raised more than VND1.2 billion to provide free heart check-ups and operations to poor children across the province.
Accordingly, 20 children who suffer from innate heart-diseases received free operations at HCMC Medical University Hospital, Children 2 Hospital and Trieu An Hospital.
In the coming time, the fund will continue to mobilize donations from organizations and individuals to offer free operations to around other children in 2011.
