(ĐN)- A ceremony was recently held in Thong Nhat district’s Quang Trung commune, Dong Nai province to honor two policemen and two youths in the locality for their bravery in catching robbers.
The honorees included Captain Huynh Van Can, and Mai Ngoc Dan, Head and Deputy Head respectively, of Quang Trung Commune Police Station, Dang Thanh Thai and Dang Thanh Hai living in Nguyen Hue 2 hamlet. They received certificates of merit from the Provincial People’s Committee and the Provincial Police Department.
In the early morning of April 16, Thai and Hai saw two armed robbers riding motorbike who snatched a handbag from a woman living in the same locality and the thieves rode away. Thai and Hai called up Captain Huynh Van Can, and Mai Ngoc Dan and all four people bravely chased after the two armed thieves and caught them.
