(ĐN)- A tree-planting campaign in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh who initiated the annual movement in the spring of 1960 was launched Thursday morning in Long Thanh district’s Long Phuoc commune by the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee.
(ĐN)- A tree-planting campaign in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh who initiated the annual movement in the spring of 1960 was launched Thursday morning in Long Thanh district’s Long Phuoc commune by the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, representatives from departments and agencies, leaders of Long Thanh district and a large number of local people attended the launching ceremony.
This is one of the practical activities to respond to the movement to “follow Uncle Ho’s advice”. The event also aims at raising public awareness about forest and environment protection.

After the launching ceremony concluded, delegates planted trees at the tomb areas of Nguyen Duc Ung and 27 insurgents in the war of resistance against the French colonialists in Long Thanh district.
