The Fund aims to mobilize financial resources from entrepreneurs in the province to help those who received amnesty return to ordinary life after their release. The fund will offer special loan programs to locals who received amnesty with difficult circumstances to help them overcome difficulties and stablise their life as well as help them re-integrate into the community and preventing them from violating the law again.
So far, the fund has raised nearly VND 2 billion and it has granted 11 loans with a total value of VND 132 million
The Fund also issued 22 loans valued at VND 375 million at the meeting to review its activities in the first six months of operation held on March 29. In 2011, the fund will continue to mobilize more resources from local entrepreneurs and individuals.
