(ĐN)- On March 15, Thong Nhat district’s Red Cross Chapter cooperated with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre to launch a humanitarian blood donation program.
The event received wholehearted support from nearly 300 state employees and young people in the locality.
At the event, 132 blood units were collected and provided to hospitals.
From the beginning of this year till now, Thong Nhat district’s Red Cross Chapter organized four humanitarian blood donation programs and attracted the participation of more than 1,600 volunteers. Accordingly, the chapter received 782 blood units, fulfilling more than 60% of the yearly target.
