(ĐN)- From the beginning of this year till now, Bien Hoa city’s Red Cross Chapter and its agencies launched six humanitarian blood donation programs and received 1,183 blood units, fulfilling more than 20% of the year’s target.
(ĐN)- From the beginning of this year till now, Bien Hoa city’s Red Cross Chapter and its agencies launched six humanitarian blood donation programs and received 1,183 blood units, fulfilling more than 20% of the year’s target.
The chapter targets to collect 3,300 units of blood in 2011. Accordingly, it will strive to reach and surpass the target set this year, solve blood shortages in the city’s hospitals and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre.
The city’s Red Cross Chapter will also launch propaganda campaigns to improve local people’s awareness of blood donation drives and encourage them to be involved in the movements.
