(ĐN)- The award ceremony for the first East Travel Torchlight Contest took place in Ho Chi Minh city on November 24.
The competition was part of the East Travel Award under the sponsorship of Vina Kyoei Steel Ltd. Company and the Career Development Community Motibee. This program is launched in the South East region and the Mekong Delta from July, 2010 to May 2011.
35 prize winners have been selected from 776 entries from 19 southern provinces and cities.

The ceremony also honored 160 teachers participating in the contest who are active, creative and devoted to education and awarded scholarships worth VND 3 million each to 160 outstanding poor students who were characters written by contestants. Among honored teachers and scholarship receivers, there were 7 teachers and 7 students from Dong Nai province.
At the awards ceremony, the organising board of the contest announced the list of top three prize winners and six outstanding students who have been selected to visit Japan.
