(ĐN)- Nearly 150 officers and soldiers from Aviation regiment C35 recently cooperated with Youth Union members and the Women’s Association and people in Tan Phong and Trung Dung Dung wards of Bien Hoa city to dredge 250 meters of canals. For the fifth time this year, the soldiers helped local people to clean up the environment.
From the beginning of the year up to now, the soldiers donated nearly VND 5 million to AO/dioxin victims, presented gifts worth almost VND 20 million to outstanding poor students and presented over VND 120 million to the poverty reduction fund of the province. At present, the regiment is calling on its officers and soldiers to make donations to support flood victims in the northern-central region, help them to overcome the consequences of the floods.
