(ĐN)- On August 28, a charity delegation led by superior Buddhist monk Thich Chon Tinh, Head of Charity Department of Giac Ngo Newspaper, visited and presented gifts to 125 poor blind people in Trang Bom district. The gifts, including a box of instant noodle and VND200,000 in cash each, were donated by monks, nuns and Buddhist followers.
Ealier, a delegation from Dong Nai provincial Labour Union and Changshin Company’s trade union visited and presented gifts to ten children of poor workers.
The gifts, worth VND500,000 each, were funded by Vietnam Labour Confederation’s Children Sponsor Fund.
On this occasion, the delegation donated VND2 million to the health sector’s two trade union members.
