(ĐN)- Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with Siam Cement Group on Thursday held the 4th scholarship awarding ceremony “Chung Mot Uoc Mo” (A Shared Dream) for 350 disadvantaged, outstanding high school students from seven southeast provinces, including Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and HCM city.
(ĐN)- Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with Siam Cement Group on Thursday held the 4th scholarship awarding ceremony “Chung Mot Uoc Mo” (A Shared Dream) for 350 disadvantaged, outstanding high school students from seven southeast provinces, including Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and HCM city. Every province was awarded 50 scholarships each worth VND2 million.
The scholarships, is a part of the programme “For the Development of Tomorrow,” initiated by Tuoi Tre Newspaper and financed by Siam Cement Group.
The scholarship program is organized annually in order to assist poor talented students to overcome difficulties and continue their studies. So far, 1,400 scholarships valued at VND 2.8 billion have been awarded to poor outstanding students in the southeast region.
