(ĐN)- To mark the Day for AO victims (August 10), Dong Nai province’s Agent Orange Victims Association will present 550 gifts worth a total of 165 million to dioxin/AO victims across the province.
(ĐN)- On the occasion of the upcoming Day for AO Victims (August 10), the Dong Nai province’s Agent Orange Victims Association has been presenting 550 gifts worth a total of 165 million to dioxin/AO victims across the province.
On August 7, the association gave 50 gifts, valued at VND300,000 each, to the beneficiaries in Thong Nhat district. The gifts, including sugar, milk, cake, candy, cooking oil and cash, funded by the province’s fund for AO victims. As known, Thong Nhat district now has nearly 80 AO victims who receive a monthly allowance of at least VND120,000.
At Vinh Cuu district, the association coordinated with the district authorities to offer 50 gifts worth VND300,000 each to the local victims.
In the afternoon of August 8, Dong Nai province’s Agent Orange Victims Association also presented 50 gifts to AO victims in Nhon Trach district.
