Infectious diseases on the rise in Dong Nai

(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Center for Preventive Healthcare, in the first seven month of this years incidence of petechial fever is 1,047 cases, up 14.1 per cent on the same period in 2007. 413 children have been infected by hand-foot-mouth disease in the province. In addition, there were 259 cases of chicken pox reported in the province during the period. There were 3 deaths due to rabies and 2 deaths due to petechial fever.
