(ĐN)- On July 15, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development had a working session with departments, agencies and districts on implementing the national program on clean water and rural environment hygiene. Accordingly, poor households will be provided materials worth around VND1 million each to build waste treatment system.
Over the first six months of the year, Dong Nai has spent more than VND6 billion for five key projects on construction of clean water supply systems in remote communes of Tan Phu, Thong Nhat and Trang Bom districts. From now until the end of 2008, the province will invest VND4 billion to build safe water systems in rural areas.
