(ĐN)- On July 30, Dai A Bank held a ceremony to celebrate its 15th anniversary and to receive the third-class Labour Medal. Established in 1993 with the initial chartered capital of VND1 billion dong, the bank made efforts to meet the customer’s demands and enhance its competitiveness capacity during the past time. Presently, its chartered capital is VND500 billion and the figure is expected to double by the end of 2008. Dai A currently has 17 branches and transaction offices nationwide with 500 employees. In 2007, the bank had a total asset of VND3,940 billion and total debit balance VND1,965 billion, 15 and 16 times, respectively, higher than the 2002’s figures. It also has a low overdue debt rate, only 0.06 percent.
At the anniversary ceremony, the bank raised VND100 million to the provincial Fund for the Poor.
