Cargill charity festival raises VND1.8 billion

(ĐN)- Late last week, Cargill Vietnam’s charity festival has been held in Long Thanh district’s Vuon Xoai tourist area with the participation of more than 3,500 people, including the company’s customers, suppliers, agencies and staffs.

(ĐN)- Late last week, Cargill Vietnam’s charity festival has been held in Long Thanh district’s Vuon Xoai tourist area with the participation of more than 3,500 people, including the company’s customers, suppliers, agencies and staffs. The charity festival has raised VND1.8 billion from sponsors. As known, the Cargill in Vietnam and US will continue mobilize to increase this figure to more than VND3 billion in 2008. This money will be used to help typhoon victims, award scholarships to poor students, build schools for pupils in remote areas in Vietnam.

 

After 12 years of operation, the Cargill fund has raised over VND17 billion and built 22 schools throughout the country.
