Awarding ceremony for winners of the photo contest “Portrait of Dong Nai Laborers”

(ĐN)- An awarding ceremony for the winners of the photo contest “Chan dung nguoi lao dong Dong Nai” ( Portrait of Dong Nai Laborers) was held at the office of Dong Nai province Labour Union on July 28. The contest attracted 235 works from 24 photographers inside and outside the province. The event was co-organised by Dong Nai province Labour Union and with the provincial Journalists’ Association. 67 best photos including 11 winning photos were displayed in the exhibition to welcome the 8th congress of the Provincial Labour Union.

Photo "Hard working" by Luu Thuan Thoi

A photo entitled “Cham chi” (Hard working) taken by photographer Luu Thuan Thoi won the first prize. Second prizes were awarded to a photo “Trong nang mai” (In the morning sunlight) by Lam Con and a photo “Hoa thep” (Steel flower) by Luu Thuan Thoi, while the third prize was shared between a photo “Cao su tho” (Raw rubber) and “Lam sach moi truong” (Cleaning the environment) by Tran Huu Cuong and one “Duy tu” by Luu Thuan Thoi. In addition, consolidation prizes were awarded to works by Pham Quang Muon, Chuong Cau, Nguyen Thoi, Luu Thuan Thoi and Huu Cuong.
